The brief.

B Shad's Guide Service is run by guide Brandun "B Shad" Sheard out of the Kingston and Rideau Lakes area of eastern Ontario. He runs guided fishing charters targeting largemouth bass on the Rideau Lakes system, and smallmouth bass and other species on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, plus seasonal northern pike trips. Charters run from a 21-foot Charger 210 V Mag powered by a Mercury 250hp Pro XS, equipped with forward-facing sonar and a Garmin Force Pro trolling motor. Trips include electronics and live-scope instruction, and are offered for both experienced anglers and beginners, including parents introducing children to fishing. Equipment rental is included.

    For: Solo angler

    Eight-hour one-on-one guided session for a single angler targeting smallmouth bass, with personalized instruction including electronics and live-scope education.

    Lake Ontario/St Lawrence - Full Day

    For: Up to 2 anglersWhen: Smallmouth catch-and-release from week of July 4th

    Seven-hour full-day charter on the larger waters of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, targeting smallmouth bass and other species. Carries up to two guests.

    Rideau Lakes - Half Day

    For: Up to 3 anglersWhen: Largemouth from June 20th through fall

    Four-hour morning or afternoon charter on the Rideau Lakes system targeting largemouth bass. Suitable for both seasoned anglers and beginners; carries up to three guests.

    For: Up to 3 anglersWhen: Largemouth from June 20th through fall

    Seven-hour full-day charter on the Rideau Lakes system targeting largemouth bass, for up to three guests across a range of experience levels.
