The brief.

Boatman Rental is a family-run business renting powercraft on the Buckhorn and Peterborough lakes of the Trent-Severn waterway in Ontario. The fleet covers two 2023 craft: a Sea-Doo GTR 230-horsepower jet ski seating up to three, and a Grand River 20 GCR pontoon boat with a 60-horsepower Yamaha motor, audio system and fish finder that seats up to ten. Rentals run in four-hour, eight-hour and two-day blocks, with delivery available across the Greater Toronto Area for renters who cannot tow. Renters must be at least 19 with a valid driver's licence and a Pleasure Craft Operator Card; staff provide a safety briefing before each launch.
