Brae Ridge Farm & Sanctuary.

Appointment-only alpaca farm near Guelph offering animal visits, yoga, picnics, parties, and off-grid glamping

Brae Ridge Farm & Sanctuary
01 — About

The brief.

Brae Ridge Farm & Sanctuary is a small Puslinch, Ontario farm run by owner Penny on Maltby Road, on the edge of Guelph. It is home to twelve alpacas plus rescue horses, Indian Runner ducks, and a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig named Willow. Visits are private and by appointment only, with biosecurity rules barring outside pets. Guests hand-feed animals, learn each one's story, and can see alpaca fibre processing in the on-site workshop. The farm pairs animal encounters with all-levels yoga among the alpacas, boho field picnics, children's birthday parties featuring hand-felting crafts, and The Meadowlark Hut, an off-grid A-frame glamping cabin in a maple forest. Its guiding line is "simply better for you, them, and us."
