The brief.
C&C Charters is a guided fishing operation run by captain Cody Stanford, who took over the business founded by his late father, Chris Stanford. Trips target walleye and rainbow trout across Southern Ontario: trolling Lake Erie with crank baits, downriggers, and dipsy divers from launches at Erieau, Wheatley, Leamington, and Colchester, plus vertical-jigging instruction on the Detroit River (LaSalle) and St. Clair River (Port Lambton). Cody holds PCOC, SVOP, SDV-BS, and ROC-M certifications along with First Aid/CPR, and is a member of the Ontario Sportfishing Guides Association. The 20ft Smokercraft Phantom carries up to four guests and is rigged with Garmin and Minn Kota electronics, including Livescope, and Okuma and 13 Fishing rods and reels.

The captain runs crank baits, downriggers, and dipsy divers, and can tailor the day toward relaxed fishing or hands-on technique instruction.
