Captain Action Charters
01 — About

The brief.

Captain Action Charters is a full-time fishing guide service operating across the Muskoka Lakes region of Ontario, including Lake Rosseau, Lake Joseph, Lake Muskoka, Lake of Bays and the Huntsville chain. Founded by Mike Bertelsen in 1988 and now run with sons Erik and Leif, the operation targets bass and pike using light tackle and proven seasonal locations, with all rods, reels and Rapala lures supplied. The guides spend over 200 days a year on the water and cite more than 20 wins and top-five finishes in bass and pike tournaments. Trips run for up to three anglers per boat, with corporate retreats, wedding parties and larger groups also accommodated. Mike is an endorsed Bass Pro Shops guide.
