The brief.

Captiva Ranch operates a horseback riding centre at 189 Chemin de la Montagne in Wakefield, Quebec, about five minutes east of the village in La Pêche. Programs span all ages and experience levels, from 30-minute pony walks for children aged 3 to 7 and duo initiation sessions, through private lessons, to guided trail rides of 1.5 and 2.5 hours for older youth and adults. A 30-minute introductory session is mandatory before any trail ride. The ranch also runs a five-day summer day camp for children aged 9 to 14 and accommodates group activities for parties of 40 or more. Riders are limited to a maximum weight of 270 pounds and a height of 6 feet 8 inches. Reservations are handled through Checkfront.
