Paddle Canada–certified stand-up paddleboard instruction and Algonquin SUP-yoga retreats based on Golden Lake in the Ottawa Valley

01 — About

The brief.

Court Outdoors is a founder-led stand-up paddleboard guiding and instruction outfit based on Golden Lake in the Ottawa Valley, Ontario, run by Courtney Sinclair — a Paddle Canada Advanced Flatwater SUP Instructor Trainer with seven-plus years of teaching, Paddle Canada River II SUP Skills certification, an RYT 200-hour yoga credential, and Advanced Wilderness First Aid 16. Open-water lessons run on the Ottawa River at Petawawa Point, from the Learn to SUP basics class through the Advanced Skills course and a drop-in SUP yoga session. Multi-day work happens at Northern Edge Algonquin in South River: a four-day SUP and yoga retreat each September, and the four-day Float SUP Yoga Teacher Training each June for certified 200-hour yoga teachers.
