Cronmiller's At the Bridge.

Captained pontoon charters on Long Point Bay plus canoe and kayak rentals on Big Creek, family-run since 1944

Cronmiller's At the Bridge
01 — About

The brief.

Cronmiller's At the Bridge is a third-generation family-run operation on Hwy. 59 South at the bridge entering Long Point, Ontario, on the north shore of Lake Erie. Operating since 1944, the property sits between Big Creek and Long Point Bay and runs four published offerings: a captained 24-foot pontoon charter on the bay, single-kayak and two-person canoe rentals on Big Creek inside the National Wildlife Reserve, and a public boat launch with seasonal dockage. Hosts Richie or Judy captain the pontoon — it is not a self-drive rental. The 2026 season opens May 16 for paddling rentals and runs through Thanksgiving for charters and dockage; the operation is closed Tuesdays in peak season and accepts cash only.
