Cruising Canoes Adventure Co.
01 — About

The brief.

Cruising Canoes Adventure Co. is a guided paddling and adventure operator founded in 2010 by Andrew "Twiggy" Twigg, with a permanent base — The Outpost — at 1011 Lancaster Lane on Mississagagon Lake in North Frontenac. As an Organizational member of ORCKA, the company specialises in canoe-certification courses, running the ORCKA Basic Canoeing Levels 1–3 in a single day and a five-day summer camp for ages 12–16 that awards three certificates: ORCKA Basic Paddling Level 3, ORCKA Canoe Tripping Level 1, and a Cruising Canoes Wilderness Survival Basic. The operator has been running insured high-school canoe trips since 2016 and works regularly with Girl Guides, Scouts, YMCA and Canadian military training groups. Year-round programming spans summer canoe/kayak/SUP rentals, guided river paddles on the Trent, ice-fishing trips and winter hot-tent camping in Esker tents.
