The brief.
Dan's Dive Shop was established in St. Catharines in 1974 by Dan Mandziuk and is run as Canada's oldest PADI training facility, the 23rd store internationally to sign on with PADI. The shop teaches a full progression of scuba courses, from entry-level PADI Open Water through advanced and specialty, professional-level, and cave and technical diving, plus CPR and first aid. It runs weekly dive charters to Great Lakes shipwrecks for skill levels from beginner to technical, with boats departing Port Colborne, Port Maitland and Long Point on Lake Erie, plus sites on Lake Ontario, Lake Huron and Lake Muskoka. The store also stocks dive gear and offers air, Nitrox and Trimix fills and rentals.
