Ecclestone Cycle is a family-owned bicycle shop at 230 Ecclestone Drive in Bracebridge, Muskoka, now in its 31st season. Founded in 1996 by Ian Dawes — a United Bicycle Institute (Oregon) graduate, Park Tool–certified mechanic, and former Team Canada race mechanic who also created Porcupine Ridge Mountain Bike Park — the shop runs four full-service repair bays and is an authorized dealer for Kona, Santa Cruz, Scott, and Giant & Liv. New bicycles ship with a Six Month Adjustment Warranty plus a complimentary Sweep Tune, and three published service tiers ($50 Clean & Lube, $60 Sweep, $100 General) cover everything from chain lube to full safety inspections. Co-owners Ian and Allison Dawes have both been named Bracebridge Business Persons of the Year.

For: Cyclists wanting a wash and lube without a full tuneWhen: Year-round, in-shop during posted hoursA bicycle bath detailing the frame, wheels, and hubs, plus an on-bike drivetrain cleaning and chain lubrication. No adjustment work is included — pair with a Sweep or General Tune if shifting or braking needs attention.
