Element Canoe Rentals is a family-owned small business renting canoes, inflatable stand-up paddleboards, and equipment from downtown Hamilton, Ontario, for use at provincial parks and conservation areas across the province. The fleet runs three canoe types — 42–46 lb ultralight kevlars and 51–55 lb standard kevlars for lakes, plus 60–64 lb river canoes for moving water — with paddles, life jackets, throw rope, bailing bucket, and a car tie-down kit included on every rental. Pickup runs 7 AM to 7 PM with a $15 after-hours fee, and Hamilton-area delivery is available for $40. Single-day, hourly, and multi-day reservations are all bookable, with a refundable $250 damage deposit collected at pickup.

    A full-day or hourly rental on canoes 15–18 feet long and 42–65 lbs depending on availability, picked up downtown Hamilton or delivered locally for an extra $40. A refundable $250 damage deposit is collected at pickup, and bookings need to be confirmed within one week of the rental date. Kayaks are not currently part of the fleet.

Refundable $250 damage deposit per canoe.
