Explorer's Tread is an owner-operated guiding business based in Lion's Head on the Bruce Peninsula, run by Zane and Muffy Davies. Trips span Georgian Bay, Lake Huron, and the inland lakes and Niagara Escarpment trails of Bruce County — half-day and full-day kayak, hike, and bike outings, plus multi-day backpacking and 7+ day kayak expeditions along the Bruce. Muffy is a full-time paramedic and certified guide; between them the pair brings more than 20 years of guiding experience. Mountain biking and fat-tire biking run year-round on Bruce single-track. Custom trips are quoted by email, and a separate trip-planning service is available for self-guided travellers.
