The brief.
Find Your Wild is an owner-operated outdoor adventure company in Huntsville, Ontario, running guided programs from an 83 Morgan's Road base camp on the edge of Muskoka cottage country. Founder Hondo, a retired high-school teacher, leads small groups on Algonquin Park backcountry ski days using Altai Hok skis, half- and full-day snowshoe safaris, and stand-up paddleboard trips on the Oxtongue River and out of Arrowhead Provincial Park. On-site programs include axe throwing, archery, archery tag, a kids-and-family Winter Discovery Package, and team-building Backcountry Bush Challenges. The base camp closes annually from August 17 to September 27 while Hondo guides in the Arctic; reservations are required for every program.
