Frontenac Outfitters operates from a private lakefront store at 6674 Bedford Road in Sydenham, Ontario, beside Frontenac Provincial Park within a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, about half an hour north of Kingston. The shop rents canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and fishing kayaks (paddlecraft typically no more than two years old) plus hot tents and stoves for winter camping, and sells paddlecraft and camping gear with free on-lake test paddling. Co-owner Zack is a certified Paddle Canada instructor with over 20 years of paddling experience. The centre runs Paddle Canada sea kayak courses, canoe lessons, SUP skills sessions and women's-only paddling programs. Rentals are per calendar day; the company does not rent for whitewater.
