The brief.
Grand Experiences is a commercial paddling outfitter on the Grand River — a Canadian Heritage River — operating from a 150-year-old shop at 109 Grand River St N in Paris, Ontario, with a second launch inside Bingemans in Kitchener. Founded in 1997, the company runs self-guided canoe, kayak, and tubing rentals on six named river routes between Cambridge and Brant, plus guided trips on the Grand and into the Long Point World Biosphere via Big Creek. Every guide is Paddle Canada certified and trained in First Aid/CPR, and instruction includes one-day ORCKA Basic Canoeing Level 1 & 2 certification. The outfit has guided more than 180,000 paddlers since 1997 and holds 15 tourism and business awards.
