Grapevine Tours Inc., run by Peter Scherer, operates guided winery and brewery tours across the Windsor-Essex region of southwestern Ontario. Small groups visit wineries along the North Shore and craft breweries, with tasting fees and lunch included on most itineraries and free pickup from residences, hotels, B&Bs, and marinas throughout Essex County and Windsor. Named tours include the North Shore Wine Adventure, Wine Away Your Afternoon, Wine and Brew Along the North Shore, and the Craft Brewery Experience, each stopping at three venues. Custom itineraries are available with advance notice. Tours run year-round and accommodate groups from two to roughly a dozen guests, removing the need for participants to drive between tastings.
