Gravenhurst outdoor education centre running summer camps, Algonquin Park canoe trips, year-round Forest School, and a JK–Grade 8 day school

Great Moose Adventures
01 — About

The brief.

Great Moose Adventures is a privately owned outdoor education centre in Gravenhurst, Ontario, in the south end of Muskoka. The 96-acre campus sits beside 30 acres of conservation wetlands and 500 acres of adjoining Crown Land, with access to the Kashe River. Programming spans three tracks under one roof: a JK–Grade 8 private day school (GMA Academy), summer day camps and Algonquin Park canoe trips for ages 4–15, and year-round Forest School days for ages 4–14 (Forest Explorers and FEAT). Shuttle service runs from Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Washago, and Orillia depending on the program, so families across south Muskoka and Simcoe County can access the campus without driving the full distance daily.
