HorsePlay Niagara, founded in 2002 by Kathy Buttigieg, runs guided trail and Lake Erie beach rides in the Port Colborne and Wainfleet area of Ontario's Niagara region. Most of its herd are rescue horses given a new home and purpose. Rides are walk-and-trot and require no prior experience, with helmets mandatory and a 250-pound maximum rider weight. Group beach rides take riders aged 8 and up, while private trail, beach, and sunset rides accept ages 6 and up. The stable also offers horse photography sessions and gift certificates. It serves visitors from across the Golden Horseshoe, including Toronto, Hamilton, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, and Buffalo. Reservations are handled online through Bookeo.
