01 — About

The brief.

Kiterider Canada is a family-run kiteboarding school operating on Lake Huron from Sauble Beach on the west coast of the Bruce Peninsula, with secondary teaching beaches at Sandy Bay Cove and South Oliphant chosen day-to-day based on wind direction. The school was founded in 2002 by Daniel and Sam Medysky and teaches IKO-certified curriculum across skill levels 1 through 3, from ground school through independent riding. Instruction runs May through October, with the One Day Beginner's Special Package and the Weekend Kite Camp anchoring the calendar. The teaching team includes professional team riders for OZONE, NORTH Kiteboarding, and BEST. Sauble Beach is under three hours from Toronto, and all kite gear and safety equipment is provided.
