Long Point Island Hugger Tours.
Captain-guided eco pontoon-boat tours of the Long Point inner bay and biosphere

The brief.
Long Point Island Hugger Tours (LPIHT) is an eco-tourism company running guided pontoon-boat tours and private charters on the inner bay of Long Point, Ontario, within the Long Point UNESCO Biosphere. Operating from a base at Port Rowan (Collins Harbour Marina Resort), the captain narrates local and natural history while cruising marshes, channels and Ryerson's Island, pointing out Blue Herons, Mute swans and other waterfowl. A 25.5-foot fully enclosed pontoon seats up to nine to ten guests with a change room, emergency toilet and running water. Staff David Theriault (Experience and Disability Consultant) and Graham Ferguson support bookings, and the company emphasizes inclusion for guests with disabilities and rotates destinations to limit disturbance to flora and fauna.
