Maple Lane Farms is a 100-acre equestrian property at 1120 Fraserburg Road in Bracebridge, Muskoka, owned and run by Allison Roswell since 2015. The farm offers English, Western, and horsemanship riding lessons year-round in an indoor arena, private trail rides through wooded trails and open fields, and youth camps across March Break and from late June through August. The four-person coaching team includes an Equestrian Canada–licensed competition coach (Susan Battista), a head trainer working in natural horsemanship, and instructors covering beginner through jumping, vaulting, and western gaming. Facilities include a windowed indoor arena with schooling jumps, a fenced outdoor jumper ring with premium footing, a 25-stall barn, and a 60 ft round pen.

For: Ages 6+, all riding levels (with two Intermediate/Advanced weeks)When: Seven weeks Monday–Friday, June 29 – August 21, 2026Each camp day pairs a ground lesson with a mounted riding lesson and a snack break between, giving campers two horse opportunities daily. Weeks alternate between Open Levels and Intermediate/Advanced focus, and campers are capped at three weeks over the summer. Registration runs through a dedicated Google Form on the camps page.

PA Day Camps
For: All riding levels (school-age, scheduled around Ontario PA days)When: Selected 2026 PA days (Jan 30, Feb 27, June 26 published)Single-day camps that rotate by discipline — English Riding, Western Riding, or Trail Riding (weather dependent). Day covers barn safety, brushing, leading, basic horsemanship, and basic barn management. Registration runs through a Google Form.

Trail Rides
For: Riders 12+, weight maximum 250 lbsWhen: Seasonal; trails open for the 2026 seasonPrivate guided trail rides of about 1.5+ hours through 100 acres of wooded trails and open field, with a fence-separated cattle herd along the route and Muskoka views. Each ride starts with a horse introduction, tack instruction, and a mounted beginner lesson before heading out. English or Western tack. Bookings by request form; gift certificates available.

Riding Lessons
For: All skill levels and agesWhen: Year-round (indoor arena)English, Western, and horsemanship instruction. Beginners cover grooming, tacking, horse handling, barn safety, and basic flatwork; intermediate and advanced riders work on jumping, show preparation, western gaming, vaulting, and bareback. Group, semi-private, 30-minute private, and one-hour private formats, billed monthly pre-paid or pay-as-you-go. All bookings by email; 48-hour cancellation policy.
