Taste of Archery

A one-hour single-session introduction on the club's indoor recurve line for up to two people, covering basic safety, recurve form, and how the equipment works. All gear is provided. Participants must sign and bring the club's liability waiver to the session. The most direct way for a complete beginner to try archery indoors in Brampton without a membership commitment.

The two-person version of the trial class — one hour, recurve only, all equipment provided, capped at two participants. Same waiver requirement. Priced as a flat session fee rather than per person, which makes it the obvious pick for a pair shooting together rather than two separate Taste of Archery bookings.

Intro to Recurve Archery

A four-session course of one-hour lessons capped at three students, covering basic safety, recurve form, and equipment fundamentals on the indoor range. Equipment is provided. This is the entry rung of the multi-discipline lesson pathway; completion qualifies for Intermediate Recurve and is the standard prerequisite for joining the club as a non-experienced archer.

Intermediate Recurve Archery

Four one-hour sessions, max three students, building on Intro to Recurve by adding the sight, stabilizer, and sling — the additional kit that distinguishes Olympic-style recurve from barebow. Equipment is provided. Sits between the introductory course and the Stage 2 / Stage 3 high-performance pathway for archers progressing toward competition.

Intro to Compound

Four one-hour sessions, max three students, taught by NCCP level-1 certified coaches. Covers safety, compound form, and equipment fundamentals on the indoor range. All compound equipment is provided. The starting point for archers specifically interested in the cam-and-cable bow rather than recurve or barebow.

Intermediate Compound

Four one-hour sessions, max three students, building on Intro to Compound with advanced progression. Equipment provided. The intermediate tier in the compound pathway, mirroring the recurve progression.

Intro to Barebow Archery

Four one-hour sessions, capped at two students per session. Barebow is recurve shooting without sights, stabilizers, or clickers — a distinct competitive discipline from sighted recurve. Equipment is provided. The smaller class cap (max two) reflects the more individualised coaching the discipline requires.

Taste of Air Pistol

A 1.5-hour trial session on the club's 3-lane 10-metre air gun range, covering safety, Olympic-style stance, and the equipment. Coached by the club's SFC IB Certified Pistol Coach / ISSF D Coach. No PAL required. A rare drop-in route to try Olympic-style target shooting in the GTA without joining a range.

Intro to Air Pistol

Four 1.5-hour sessions on the air gun range, covering Olympic-style air pistol fundamentals from stance through trigger control. Equipment provided. Runs on a monthly cadence so a student can repeat the course or progress straight into member-only follow-on practice. No PAL required.

High Performance Air Pistol

Annual high-performance pathway combining weekly group coaching with individual practice on the 10-metre range. Athletes compete in local matches and at provincial and national level. Air pistol is provided in the first year if needed. No PAL required.

Stage 3 High Performance Program (Recurve)

The top rung of the club's recurve athlete-development pathway. Eligibility requires active club membership in good standing, completion of Stage 2 (or a positive coach recommendation), and a minimum 500-point score in registered competition. Includes technical form analysis, an annual training plan, competition preparation for domestic and international events, and virtual one-on-one coaching. Coaching staff includes the former UAE national team coach (2014–2019) and the former Archery Canada Junior National Team coach (2021–2024).
