The brief.

Ridgedale Equestrian is a riding facility at 342 Kemp Rd. West in Grimsby, Ontario, offering lessons for riders of all ages and experience levels alongside full-care boarding. Head coach Paisley Statten leads instruction with a focus on the hunter/jumper disciplines and more than 30 years of equestrian experience. New riders register through a waiver process and an online booking calendar, and must arrive with an ASTM/SEI-certified helmet and appropriate footwear. The barn provides both indoor box-stall boarding with daily stall cleaning and turnout, and outdoor boarding with run-ins, hay, and heated water. Ridgedale also runs a small sporthorse breeding and young-horse development program, detailed through its companion site Ridgedale Sport Horses.

    Riding Lessons

    For: All ages and experience levels

    Riding instruction led by head coach Paisley Statten, with a focus on hunter/jumper disciplines. New riders complete a waiver, set up an account, and schedule a first lesson; an ASTM/SEI-certified helmet and ankle-height boots with a heel are required.

    Indoor Boarding

    For: Horse owners

    Full-care indoor boarding in a rubber-matted box stall with wood shavings, daily stall cleaning, twice-daily balanced rations, and daily turnout. Includes all outdoor-boarding amenities plus indoor arena access. Veterinary and farrier services billed separately.

    Outdoor Boarding

    For: Horse owners

    Outdoor boarding with free-choice water (heated in winter), hay access, summer pasture, one daily balanced feeding, wood run-ins, indoor arena access, and a locker. Veterinary and farrier services are billed separately.

  4. 04

    Breeding & Development Program

    For: Sporthorse buyers and owners

    A small sporthorse breeding and young-horse development program. Detailed program information is hosted on the companion site Ridgedale Sport Horses (ridgedalesporthorses.ca).
