River Run Guiding Company is the one-guide operation of Winston Tham, who fishes Spey and centrepin techniques for Great Lakes steelhead across Southwestern Ontario. Tham started fishing the region's tributaries at age six and moved to two-handed Spey casting at 25, later pursuing steelhead on Washington's Olympic Peninsula and British Columbia's Skeena River. He guides full-day raft floats and walk-and-wade trips on the Credit, Saugeen, Maitland, and Grand rivers, supplying premium rods, reels, lines, and waders, plus a hot shore lunch he prepares himself as an executive chef at a Canadian private golf club. He is a recommended guide through Drift Outfitters & Fly Shop and was featured in John Shewey's book Spey Flies: Their History and Construction.
