The brief.
Riverside Oasis Farm & Retreat sits on 21 acres along a river in Wellandport, in Ontario's Niagara Region, about 45 minutes from Niagara Falls and 90 minutes from Toronto. Founded in 2020 by the Carlton family and now run by the Reilly family, the working homestead raises alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens and barn cats. Guests stay in one of three all-season Mongolian yurts that sleep up to four, each with a queen bed, twin trundle, wood-burning stove, stocked kitchenette, dining area and an outdoor fire pit and shared BBQ. Every overnight stay includes a private evening farm tour. The farm also runs separately bookable farm tours and curated couples packages, and sells gift certificates.
