The brief.

Sarah Parks Horsemanship operates a riding stable at 7150 Essex County Road 20 in Amherstburg, Ontario, serving Windsor, LaSalle, Essex and surrounding Essex County. The facility teaches both English and Western disciplines to children and adults, including couples, families, siblings and women's groups, with individual or group sessions tailored to each rider's goals. Beyond standard lessons it runs a nine-week after-school program, one-hour ranch experiences pairing young children with a farm tour and pony, and themed summer, March break and Christmas camps where participants are matched with their own equine to learn grooming, tacking, daily care and riding. The stable also hosts ranch parties, backyard pony parties and pony-ride events.

    After School Program

    A nine-week program running one evening per week (Tuesday–Friday, 4–7 p.m.) covering riding lessons matched to skill level plus grooming, daily care, tacking and horse communication in small, ability-grouped sessions.

    $675 + HST for the 9-week program

    Summer Camp

    For: Little Wranglers ages 6–8; main camp ages 7–13When: Summer (e.g. Little Wranglers Aug 4–7, 2026)

    Themed one-week day camps, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., where each camper is matched with their own equine and learns grooming, saddling, basic health care and riding alongside leadership and team activities.

    $325 + HST (Little Wranglers); $375 + HST (ages 7–13)

    Ranch Experience

    For: Young children with parents or grandparents

    A one-hour outdoor session including a farm tour to meet the animals, guided grooming with a horse or pony, and horseback riding time. Booked by phone or email; gift certificates available.
