The brief.

SR Fishing runs all-season guided charters out of Orillia, Ontario, working Lake Simcoe, Lake Couchiching and the Muskoka lakes. Open-water trips target smallmouth and largemouth bass, lake trout, whitefish, northern pike, jumbo perch, bowfin, catfish and musky, with seasons spanning April through November depending on the species. In winter the operation switches to ice fishing for whitefish and lake trout, jumbo perch, and nighttime burbot. Boat trips run five hours for one to two anglers, with additional anglers added per head and all equipment supplied. Catch-and-release applies to Muskoka pike. A deposit secures each booking.

    Five-hour boat charter for smallmouth and largemouth bass on Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching. All equipment provided; additional anglers $100 each. A $250 deposit secures the date.

    Five-hour northern pike charter on Lake Couchiching. All gear supplied; extra anglers $100 each on the base rate. Deposit required to book.
