Surf ON the Lakes.
Great Lakes surf and stand-up paddleboard lessons and camps across Ontario beaches near Toronto.
The brief.
Surf ON the Lakes (also branded Surf Ontario) teaches surfing and stand-up paddleboarding on the Great Lakes, with instructors who describe over 50 years of combined surf experience and SUP instruction on the lakes dating to 2008. Lessons run at break-dependent spots including Ashbridge's Bay and Bond Head on Lake Ontario, Wyldewood Beach and Port Stanley on Lake Erie, and Bayfield and Kincardine on Lake Huron. Because lake surf is conditions-driven, surf lessons cannot be booked in advance; students register for email alerts and book roughly 24 hours ahead. The school also offers SUP lessons, SUP camps for kids and teens, and corporate team-building paddle sessions in the Greater Toronto Area. Instruction covers technique plus safety topics such as currents, rips, and local weather.
