Georgian Bay Fishing Charter

Trolled charters out of Meaford Harbour targeting salmon, lake trout, brown trout, and rainbow trout (1–30 lb). Vessels carry Scotty Commercial Downriggers, Lowrance Sonar, GPS, VHF, autopilot, and fully enclosed washrooms. All safety and fishing equipment is provided; the 6-hour option includes a fish guarantee, and every catch is cleaned and bagged before you leave the dock. Ontario fishing license available upon request.

1-Person 4-Hour Fishing Charter

New for 2026: a dedicated solo-angler rate on the 4-hour Georgian Bay charter, priced separately from the standard up-to-4-people structure. Same Meaford Harbour departure, same three-vessel fleet equipped with Scotty Commercial Downriggers, Lowrance Sonar, GPS, VHF, and autopilot. All safety and fishing equipment is provided, and the catch is cleaned and bagged dockside. Ontario fishing license available upon request.

Lake Erie Walleye Charter

New for 2026: spring walleye charters running out of Colchester (100 Jackson St, Harrow, Ontario) — a distinct operation from the Meaford / Georgian Bay charters, targeting Lake Erie walleye during the April-through-June window with an 8 AM start. Priced for one to four anglers on a 5-hour trip; same captain-run service model and equipment standard as the Georgian Bay fleet.

Georgian Bay Scenic Tour, Swim-and-Fish, and Scattering of Ashes

Three non-fishing or hybrid packages on the same Meaford-based Georgian Bay fleet: a scenic tour of the Meaford shoreline, a one-hour-swim-plus-one-hour-fish combo, and chartered scattering-of-ashes outings. The 2-hour base rate covers up to 6 people, with $50 per additional person beyond the first 6. Optional pickup from Thornbury available for an additional $250. 2026 Meaford Salmon & Trout Derby

Annual 9-day derby sponsored by U Catch'em Charters. Fish must be caught between Cape Rich and Christie Beach and weighed at the Meaford fish cleaning station (open 9am–9pm daily). Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd heaviest salmon, plus top lake trout and rainbow trout, with draw prizes for all ticket holders present at the August 30 draw. Tickets available at U Catch'em Charter Boats, U Catch'em Bait & Tackle, and the Meaford Harbour Office.

U Catch'em Bait & Tackle

Operator-run bait and tackle shop at 205572 Hwy 26 (SE corner of Hwy 26 and Grey Road 112), open from April 1. Stocks bait and tackle for bass, perch, walleye, white fish, salmon, rainbow trout, lake trout, and brown trout — including live worms and roe, anchovy and herring, flashers, dodgers, spoons, flies, and a line winder service. Hours: "open unless gone fishing."
