The brief.
What Wake Park is a cable wakeboarding park on Bush's Wakeboard and Waterski Lake, about 2 km north of Bala in Muskoka, Ontario, operating since 2013 at Bush's Sports Center. An electric overhead cable pulls riders from a dock, with adjustable speeds and an obstacle course of jumps, rails, and boxes suited to beginners through advanced riders. The park accommodates wakeboarding, wakeskating, kneeboarding, and waterskiing, and offers one-on-one coaching from certified Canadian coaches through private rentals. Lifejackets and helmets are mandatory and available to rent. Summer day camps run from July through summer's end via partner WakeHui. The cable runs rain or shine, closing only for thunder or lightning.
