The brief.

Williams Outfitters is a Native-owned and operated guiding service based at Curve Lake First Nation in Ontario's Kawartha Lakes region. Owner Mike Williams, an Ojibwe professional tournament angler who has fished competitively since 1995 and guided for more than twenty years, runs trips from a fully equipped bass boat. Days on the water combine fishing instruction for all skill levels with interpretive discussion of local history and First Nation culture. Trips suit beginners, families, corporate groups, and experienced anglers looking to learn the lakes. Bass boats, pontoon boats, and canoes are available, and a shore lunch can be added to any outing.

    Half Day Guided Fishing

    For: Anglers of all skill levels, families, and first-timers wanting a shorter outing.

    A four-hour guided trip from a fully loaded bass boat with fishing equipment, safety gear, a lake tour, technique instruction, and digital photos. Includes interpretive discussion of local history and First Nation culture.

    $400 per outing for up to 2 people; $50 per additional person. Truck gas extra. Not available on tournament dates or weekends.

    Full Day Guided Fishing

    For: Anglers and groups wanting a complete day on the Kawartha Lakes.

    An eight-hour guided trip from a fully loaded bass boat with fishing equipment, safety gear, a lake tour, technique instruction, and digital photos. Includes interpretive discussion of local history and First Nation culture.

    $600 per outing for up to 2 people; $100 per additional person. Truck gas extra. Not available on tournament dates or weekends.
