The brief.

Niagara Cycling Tours is a Canadian-owned cycling tour company based in Niagara-on-the-Lake, operating since summer 2021 and recognised as an Ontario By Bike 2022 award winner. Tours run across the Niagara Region — over 30 cities, towns, and villages including Niagara Falls, Crystal Beach, Port Colborne, Pelham, Jordan Station, and Welland — on mostly traffic-free roads and trails. Trips are van-supported, with luggage transfer, accommodation, breakfasts and dinners, route maps, and wine tastings built into the published trip price. Distance options range from novice no-hill loops up to 200+ km endurance days, with e-bikes available. Tours are sold direct and through RaceRoster, with a $100 deposit holding a spot on the multi-day Cycling Holiday and 2-Day tours.

    Cycling Holiday Weekend

    A 4–5 day van-supported tour through the Niagara Region, with an optional Thursday welcome dinner in Niagara-on-the-Lake and routes running Friday through Monday (departure Tuesday). Riders pick higher-mileage 90–120+ km days or lower-mileage 50–75 km days and can mix daily. Routes link NOTL, Niagara Falls, Crystal Beach, Port Colborne, and Jordan on mostly traffic-free paths, with curated local meals and wine tastings included.

    Cycling Holiday Weekday

    For: Experienced cyclists training for overseas trips, retired cyclists, milestone celebrants, club riders, and independent travelers across all ability levelsWhen: Sample Sunday-arrival through Friday-departure frame; dates on demand

    The weekday variant of the multi-day classic, with a guided or self-guided choice. High-mileage option runs 90–120+ km per day; lower-mileage 40–75 km. Includes group breakfast and daily cycling, van support and luggage transfer, first-rate accommodation, local-produce meals, wine tastings, and staff guidance on select days. Optional welcome dinner and meet-and-greet open the week.

    2 Wheels, 2 Days

    For: Novice to advanced cyclists; families; early-season riders; budget-conscious travelersWhen: Weekends in May, June, and July, then by request

    A 2-day intro tour that starts and ends each day in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Daily distance runs 50–85 km standard, with novice no-hill options and a 100+ km advanced track. Riders choose between three route directions — Niagara Falls, Welland, or southwest toward St. Catharines/Jordan — and can add optional winery visits. Accommodation, luggage handling, route planning, and a detailed guidebook are included. Extendable to 3 days with Friday or Monday additions.

    One-Day Mega Niagara Ride

    For: Experienced cyclists, cycling clubs, endurance riders, and corporate groupsWhen: Select days throughout summer and fall 2026, or by request

    A one-day endurance ride with full van support, rest-stop coordination, pre-prepared snacks and meals, and route planning on safe, flat roads. Riders pick a distance goal of 200 km, 270 km, or a custom target, with rides starting and finishing in Toronto, the GTA, or Niagara-on-the-Lake. Group or solo configurations are available; the day typically runs up to about 12 hours with multiple rest stops.
