The brief.
Zoom Leisure Bikes is a Niagara-on-the-Lake bike rental and tour outfitter operating from 431 Mississauga St. in Old Town, a short ride from the wineries, breweries, and Niagara Parkway. Founded in 1997 by Steve and Rebecca as a Niagara College co-op project, the shop now runs four product lines from one address: half- and full-day rentals across cruisers, hybrids, e-bikes, and family carriers; an app-based bike share network with stations across town; three self-guided winery and brewery tour loops with pre-arranged tastings; and Trek and Electra retail and repair. Open daily from March through October, with door delivery available within 8 km.

Bike Rentals
For: All ages — adults plus kid carriers (Weehoo ages 3–6, Tag Along ages 5–9) and a 24-inch Townie for riders 55–65 inchesWhen: Daily, March through October (March 10am–3pm; Apr–May 9am–5pm; Jun–Aug 9am–6pm; Sept–Oct 9am–5pm)Fleet includes Townie Original 7D step-over and step-thru cruisers, Trek FX hybrids, and Electra Townie Go! 5i e-bikes. Every rental ships with a helmet, lock, handlebar bag or basket, kickstand, area map, bell, water bottle cage, and emergency roadside assistance. Door delivery is $10 within 8 km (minimum 2 bikes), $20 for rural Niagara-on-the-Lake; e-bikes are excluded from delivery and helmets are mandatory on them.
$30 half-day (up to 3 hrs) / $40 full-day (up to 24 hrs), excludes HST; e-bikes double the regular rate; multi-day and 10+ group rates on request

For: Adults — self-guided, no guide required at venuesWhen: 2026 seasonA 14 km self-guided loop with pre-arranged tastings at three named partners: Jackson-Triggs (winery tour with tasting flight), Oast House (flight of three beers), and Limited Distillery (three mini cocktails with a seasonal snack). Capped at eight riders per group. Includes a medium gelato from Il Gelato di Carlotta. No reservations to manage en route — Zoom has booked each stop in advance.

For: Adults — self-guided, no guide required at venuesWhen: 2026 seasonA 16 km self-guided loop tracing the Niagara Parkway through four named partner stops: Exchange Brewery (flight of three beers), Reif Estate (flight of three wines or one glass), Inniskillin (flight of three wines), and Riverview Cellars (flight of four wines or one glass). Capped at eight riders per group. Includes a medium gelato from Il Gelato di Carlotta. Visits are pre-arranged — riders just turn up and taste.

Capped at eight riders per group. Includes a medium gelato from Il Gelato di Carlotta. No reservations to chase between stops.

Zoom BikeShare
For: Adults and teens fitting a cruiser sized 5'2"–6'2"; one phone can rent up to four bikesWhen: 2026 seasonApp-based bike share across Niagara-on-the-Lake — register in the iOS or Android app, scan the QR code on a handlebar to unlock a 3-speed ZOOM Cruiser with a front basket, and return it to any Zoom location to end the rental. Stations are placed at area hotels, on bike paths, and at popular spots around town; the app shows live locations and emails a receipt automatically.
