Operator Data Policy

Last Updated: February 5, 2026

We believe privacy is part of a healthy environment. We track air quality, not you. Here is exactly what data we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Location Data: Essential for the "AER Score" and mapping features. You control when it's on.
  • Account Info: Name, email (for login and updates).
  • Usage Data: How you move through the app, to help us improve the UX.

How we use it

We use this data to build the map and help your business be found. We do not sell your location history.

Business Data

We store your operational details—schedules, pricing, location data, and service descriptions—to power your website and storefront and train your AI marketing agent. This data is used specifically to represent your business accurately to potential explorers.

Customer Data

When an explorer books with you, we process their data (name, email, contact info) on your behalf to fulfill that booking. We treat this data as your business asset. We do not use your customer list to cross-promote other operators or "poach" your audience.

AI Training & Intelligence

We use anonymized conversation data and interaction patterns to make our AI agents smarter for everyone. For example, learning how to better answer "is it raining?" or "what should I wear?" benefits the whole platform. We do not share your private trade secrets, specific margins, or internal business strategies with other operators.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption and secure data handling practices to protect your business information. As our operator systems evolve, we will keep you informed of any changes to how data is processed.
